AKG Introduces Discreet Acoustics Compact (DAC) Microphones for Cost-Effective, Quality-Conscious Installation Use

The new DISCREET ACOUSTICS COMPACT (DAC) Series from AKG is a cost-efficient, alternative solution for any installation with a limited budget that requires top-quality sound. DAC provides unbeatable, uncompromised audio performance at high-value prices.

The Discreet Acoustics Compact Series is comprised of two 12-inch and two 20-inch gooseneck microphones with a choice of cardioid or hypercardioid capsules, plus a hanging cardioid "choir" microphone. All DAC models use rugged, all-metal parts and are tough enough to withstand the rigors of portable or fixed installation use. Each model comes with the mounting hardware necessary for most applications and there are a number of optional accessories available to customize models for esoteric installations if required.

All DAC Series gooseneck models use a single rigid wear-resistant flexpipe between the gooseneck and microphone element and all models have three-pin XLR-type connectors. The DAC CHM 21 hanging mic comes with 33 ft (10 m) of twist-resistant cable and a spring-steel curl to keep it where it is aimed.

DAC models have a matte dark gray finish that blends into any decor perfectly and they have elegant, modern styling.
