Quality:
Owned a ampegB15N 1966 to now only use a 5AR4 rec tube, I expect batter with the SVT3 Pro.,the sound is 9X as much with cabs up the A$$, it'l do OK! I had a bA115HP before it playee it for a month, the power war there as were too many unexplained things diales in the back, a tuner I didn;t know what it was..Bal Line put..for mE??? when I set the B15n I set the guitar the T,M,B then brought the vol up till it clippred then bsckred off a half or so..tooeasy BA115HP too hard SVT with 2 cabinets..very easy and powerful, 450 watts for as mant cabs as I want. SVT15E on the bottom, 1510 Ameg in the middle 15";10" ans a horn extension..easy and stand back!

Features:
This product is fine as it is, I can't think of what I wouild do..is there a KORG tuner? needs it!...that I could use as my BA115HP had, Iloved it. Everyone was in tune at all times. wunnerful. Good support for cabinets and extensions, the " "SVT"system is the best..more tubes in the power section. Need strong tubes and power fans that are thermostat units to keep things down to a reasinable degree.

Ease of Use:
Manuals could use work..easy to draw lines to dials without explaining them! Do what you can to take error out of it. it'd too expensive to blow setting it up!

Value:
I am in the process of setting her up, Ive got 2 SVT 15E's and I want to break up all of that lowbass, but, that's why I play Bass, I need to get it when I want it, therefore the "fishman classic 4" there is no competition to other priducts. it stands by itself, I set the cabs/set the axe, s try to set the vol just under "clipping" that's what Ollie would do! Gotta measure power by actual power not what's making the speakers scream.

Sound:
I would start with the heaviest bottoms...SVT18'son the botom, in the middle a combination like the 1510, lay in a good 15" a 12" and some horns and ports... go the route, get all the resonance that the SVT was made for. I have the ability to keep 2x15e's and then work with a 1510 in the mids and keep the horns on the sides in various directions. Watch the string vibration because of the newer Acoustic Bass Guitars, like I have.I love to play it alone just to see if others know what I'm playing, I play chords(short scale) partials, leads, runs, riffs, octaves I know them all, I climb the 4-string like a telephone pole!

Overall:
I never would have gone to a SVT system if it wasn't for the inability to expand on the BA115HP's, the 220 w. power was there, but, with a Fender acoustic Bass shortscale I had to leave my right hand hanging all night just to keepin check the top strings from singing aboue me, especially the "E" and "A" string...I'm going back to flatwounds, I'll kill the guy that told me that the round wound was "the sound" maybe for slapping and thumping but not for a pure bass product! I play with a pick all over ..there is all sounds all over the strings from nut to nut, I thumb rhythm next, get that bass sound soft and sweet, then I use fingers, to get a Rock & roll feeling, if I want you to hear the hi-res. I'm a six-string convert and I'm glad I am...I know so much more than just a bass player as that is what I had to do before I went to bass, I filled in for everything, I was one of the first Power trios like "ZZ-TOP" I filled in everything and I could.

Music Style:
I was raised during the mid1950's, that's the height of evil R&R, and all the way to the future

Music Experience:
Very Professionak=l proudful Bass player 40 years.

How I use this product:
For Fun

Experience with the product:
I purchased it recently (less than 6 weeks)
