This guitar is great. I have a reissue 62' Jaguar in vintage 3-color sunburst..I paid $1450.00 for it.I have never seen or heard anything so beautiful. The guitar has such a smooth body and neck it plays like butter.
Features:
The jaguar has a lead and rhythm circuit...The switch on the upper horn controls which circuit you are on. Up=rythm down=lead.....when on the rhythm circuit only the neck pickup is activated,when on the lead circuit you can control both pickups........
the rotary wheels on the upper horn are tone and volume for the neck pickup...the knobs at the butt end of the guitar are for the bridge pickup...
The switches on the lower end of the guitar are pickup switching..the closest to the neck is the neck switch..the middle is the bridge switch..and the last one is the low end filter switch which filters out certain sounds.
Ease of Use:
The guitar is so smooth and has such a silky action to it. It can be complicated if you don't know what the switches do..so look at my "features" section.
Value:
I definately think this is worth the money. I think this is the best guitar I have ever played.
Sound:
with this guitar you can play funky ditties like john frusciante or you can play crunchy grungy riffs like Kurt cobain...(believe me you can).this guitar is so versitile you can get tons of sounds out of this thing.
Overall:
This is a great guitar....people tend to complain about the bridge but this is easily fixed without having to buy a Mustang bridge or saddles... Usually it is just the low E string that pops out of place..so just take the wrench thing that comes with it and lower one saddle screw so the saddle is at a slant..

So then when you are strumming you arent pushing the string out of the saddle you are pushing it in..
