Quality:
The GSA60 is a greatly made ax. I picked it up thinking that it was a beginner guitar, but it's very different than that! Ibanez crafted it perfectly, no loose parts, the finish is great, and it can take alot of grease and dust and still clean up with ease. I expect it to last about 5-10 years without a fault.
Features:
The best feature on the GSA60 would definitly have to be the tremolo. It is a single locking trem, and it permits dive bombs and tremolo dive without a tuning slip. Another great feature is the neck, which is very fast, slick and smooth. One of the lesser impressive features was the nut, which was a vintage style, not a modern nut. If I could, I would add a wilkinson tremolo to it with either a locking nut or a graphite nut, and EMG style pickups. No accesories came with it.
Ease of Use:
The GSA60 plays very easily, with its low action on the strings. No buzzing at all. The tremolo is surprisingly extra easy to use, you barly use any force to move it. Because I've been playing for about 5 years, I got used to it immediately.
The products playability level on a 1-10 scale would be about a 9.5.
Value:
I actually got the GSA60 on sale for $99.00. I kind of feel like I ripped The store off, because its that great. The price was definitely worth it. I probably would have paid more for it though.
Sound:
The powersound Ibanez pickups play great, and they pick up harmonics like a dog's ear picks up a dog whistle. I love the modern tone that comes out of them. Clean, the guitar sounds very smooth, yet very quick and precise. Distorted, it sounds like it would be a great guitar for a band like Lamb of God or Killswitch Engage, kind of distorted, yet clear, you can tell each note that is coming out of it. I play it through a digitech RP50 and a Peavey Transtube 110 and it definitely sounds much better than by itself. I think that if I install EMG style pickups on it, it would sound better.
Overall:
The entire product is great, and you get a different vibe playing it than any other guitar, kind of like it's a person you know.
