Quality:
Over all this is a very tight instrument. There are a few things i would change but nothing has givin me any problems and i have had this bass for about six months now. this is an extremly dependable instrument.
Features:
The headphone jack is pretty cool, i wasn't impressed with the quality of the telescopic stand, i thought it was kind of weak. however i have not had any problems with it. it comes with a nice gig bag as well.
Ease of Use:
The playability of this instrument is the same as a standard acoustic upright. i have had veteran upright players give my compliments on the sound it gets and the overall feel. this was my first upright bass and i am very proud to own it. i couldn't think of anything better to learn on for the price.
Value:
this insrument is definatly worth the price. i did a lot of shopping around and i am extremely confindent that this was the right bass to chose. i highly recomend it.
Sound:
Great sound. every gig i have played at people give me compliments on first the beauty of the instrument and then the sound. the pick up is a little hot throughout the whole instrument but i can live with that, it is a very minor thing. it did take me a while to calibrate the levels on my amp to the bass itself but once i did that it sounds 100 times better.
Overall:
I will never get rid of this bass. the only other upright i might buy is a traditional acoustic upright but that is not in the near future.
