A totally modern, hybrid version of the famous SVT. Its tube pre-amp section re-creates the great bass tone that made the original SVT the most-respected bass amp of all time. The power section is tube-driven solid state with a toroidal transformer that generates less noise and magnetic interference. Delivers 450W into 4 ohms and has an arsenal of tone-shaping tools: 3 bands of tone, a 5-position mid selector, 9-band graphic EQ, plus low and high boosts. Other pro features include input peak LED, input pad and bright switch, mute function, tuner out, variable line-out level, time-delayed turn on, DC-supplied filaments, and variable fan speed. 2U rackmount.
The sound is in your head. You've played countless instruments in search of the ultimate soul mate. Now you need an amp that will speak your sound to the audience. That's where the SVT-3PRO comes in. There's a reason this amp is a best seller-it delivers the goods! With up to 450 watts and the sweet sound of tubes, the SVT-3PRO is the top choice of rockers and funkmeisters around the globe.
It's all about tone. The SVT-3PRO's Frequency control allows you to select the center frequency for the Midrange control, giving you a choice of five distinct "voices" for the Midrange. The center frequencies are 220Hz, 450Hz, 800Hz, 1.6kHz and 3kHz. And if that's not enough, you can use the 9-Band Graphic EQ to custom tailor your sound even more. Or use the EQ to set up a footswitchable "second channel" for your show-stopping bass solo.
The SVT-3PRO is designed for the player who wants SVT tone and performance (with a few modern enhancements) in a convenient rackmount design. Robert Trujillo (Metallica) and Les Claypool (Primus) are just a couple of the world-class artists that depend on the SVT-3PRO to get the job done, day in and day out.

"The Bass that does it all!"

Customer Rating: I never would have gone to a SVT system if it wasn't for the inability to expand on the BA115HP's, the 220 w. power was there, but, with a Fender acoustic Bass shortscale I had to leave my right hand hanging all night just to keepin check the top strings from singing aboue me, especially the "E" and "A" string...I'm going back to flatwounds, I'll kill the guy that told me that the round wound was "the sound" maybe for slapping and thumping but not for a pure bass product! I play with a pick all over ..there is all sounds all over the strings from nut to nut, I thumb rhythm next, get that bass sound soft and sweet, then I use fingers, to get a Rock & roll feeling, if I want you to hear the hi-res. I'm a six-string convert and I'm glad I am...I know so much more than just a bass player as that is what I had to do before I went to bass, I filled in for everything, I was one of the first Power trios like "ZZ-TOP" I filled in everything and I could.
