The RPx400 is the first modeling floor processor with true two-way computer connectivity and extra I/O to handle vocals, other instruments and monitoring. It lets you capture tracks on a PC with the included DigiTech multi-track recording software by Cakewalk®. Then edit, mix and burn CDs.
With everything you need to record (including a kick-ass floor processor), the RPx400 is digital recording designed by guitarists for guitarists.
On stage you have the best of both worlds by using the separate 1/4½ and XLR outputs to send your sound to either the amplifier or the PA, using DigiTech's award-winning cabinet modeling. When you're ready to record, send all of your tones to your PC. You can also record vocals using the mic pre-amp or use the stereo line level inputs to record any instrument — just plug and play.
Now there's no excuse not to record and create your own CDs — the RPx400 is that easy to use.
XLR mic preamp with level control for recording vocals and acoustic instruments without having to add a mixer.
USB Port streams 24-bit audio to and from a recording computer. For example, stereo effects, dry guitar and mic while listening to a stereo mix on the computer. The USB Port also gives the RPx400 user foot control of computer recording functions such as Record, track arming, Play and Stop functions.

Stereo line inputs are standard equipment on the RPx400. You don't need to add an interface box or mixer to record other instruments
Balanced XLR and 1/4" outputs. XLRs are speaker-compensated so the RPx400 can drive a PA using DigiTech's award-winning cabinet modeling — or feed a recording console without conversion box — while the 1/4" jack drives your guitar amp.
Dry/Wet recording. Processed stereo signal plus a mono dry signal can be streamed to the computer simultaneously. This allows the user to re-process the signal on the computer after the fact via Re-Amp feature. Dry signals recorded on the computer can be sent back to the RPx400 for processing with any of the effects or models.
