The ESP Guitars VIPER 1000 is a solid body electric guitar with superb playability, powerful pickups and a luxurious flamed maple top. The Ltd Deluxe Series Viper-1000 STBLK is loaded with an EMG 81 pickup in the bridge position and an EMG 85 pickup for the neck, the ultimate active pickup combination for metal and rock tones. The super smooth, bound 3 Piece mahogany set neck with rosewood fretboard on a mahogany sculpted body with flamed maple top, provides good resonance and incredible sustain for the EMG's to belt out rich rhythm and searing solo tones, perfect for metal and rock. The ESP Guitars Ltd Deluxe Viper-100 STBLK has a 24.75 inch scale for easy note bending and the upper frets are easily reached with the double cutaway design. Other features include eyecatching abalone flag inlays, Schaller Locking tuners, Tonepros T3B-T bridge and T1Z Locking Tailpiece and Vol / Toggle / Tone controls. The hardware works very well with the Earvana Compensated Nut, ensuring reliable, long-term tuning across the note range.
