Holton TR680
Holton TR680 Description:
Key of Bb with F attachment. .547" bore, 9" hand-hammered bell, chromeplated nickel silver inner slide, brass outer slide, flat wrap, short-stroke string rotor linkage, lacquer finish. Includes mouthpiece and deluxe wood shell case.
A large-bore tenor designed to serve as an alternative to artist models, the TR680 allows the student to bridge the gap between small-bore and large-bore instruments. It is highly recommended as an introduction to the bass trombone, as it offers enough resistance for the student to produce a full sound and assists in maintaining intonation. The unique "flat wrap" F attachment provides an extra measure of protection against damage.
