For the money, this guitar can't be beat.
I especially like the appearance of the
AEL50serlv. The finish and inlays are
gorgeous.
I was curious about the sycamore back and
sides having never heard of this application
before in a guitar. The sycamore however is
a winner, giving this guitar a light weight
yet very nice tone. The top is spruce with a
low luster sheen all over. The guitar appears
to have more of an oiled finish than a glossy
one.
I have compared this to many other guitars in
$400. to $1000. range and picked this one out
of the crowd. Dollar for dollar, get the AEL50serlv.
