Korg NANOKONTROLB (Black)
The nanoKONTROL from Korg is a slim line USB controller (about the size of an Apple computer keyboard) that nonetheless provides a huge amount of controller functions for DAW software or for programming virtual instruments. The unit features 9 faders, 9 encoders, 18 controller switches, and a full transport control section.
For added flexibility, attack and decay time can be specified for each of the 18 switches. This allows for smoothly feeding controller messages into parameters such as wet/dry levels for an effect, sweeping a filter on a synthesizer, or commanding a volume fader to execute a perfect fade.
An additional switch is provided that can recall any one of four scenes. These scenes allow all the controls on the unit to be set up in a particular configuration. They, for example, could be set up for one scene for mixing, while another scene can be programmed to edit a specific virtual instrument.
