Basset Clarinet France - Key of A, .574" bore, low C, silver-plated keys

The Leblanc France basset clarinet possesses the mechanical facility and richness of the A clarinet but with an extended range to low C providing fuller, richer tone for notes in this normally weaker register.

Some of Mozart's works, particularly his Clarinet Concerto in A-major, K. 622, were written for basset clarinet, an instrument that long ago disappeared ... until now.
