LeBlanc LB120B
LeBlanc LB120B Description:
"Symphonie" - Bb Soprano -Grenadilla upper and lower joints, Backun Traditional cocobolo bell, Backun ringless cocobolo and grenadilla barrels.
The Leblanc Symphonie Bb clarinet is an instrument that looks to combine the best of the historic "Symphonie" models with the advantages of contemporary technology and accoustic design.
Desgned by master Morrie Backun, the Leblanc Symphonie Bb clarinet offers the professional clarinetist a sound that is pure and projecting while still maintaining a strong committment to the lower overtones.
The result is rich and dark sound that can still carry most halls. Features include aged grenadilla wood body with Backun Traditional bell and barrel.
The Leblanc Symphonie, available in both Bb (LB120B) and A (LB125A), is a tribute to tradition, incorporating the best design features of the past and present, with an innovative look to the future of clarinet performance.
Like the Legacy, The Symphonie features an aged and highly figured grenadilla body with undercut, integral tone holes and Backun Ringless cocobolo and grenadilla barrels.
The Backun Traditional cocobolo bell provides for a warm, rich tone without sacrificing projection. The keywork is very similar to that the Legacy, as well, but with fewer locking screws and adjustments.
Both models are carried in a professional BAM backpack case, with no mouthpiece set-up.
