Luna Trinity

Luna Trinity Description:

The Trinity features a solid sitka spruce top with an extraordinary knot work sound hole crafted of mother-of-pearl with ebony borders.

An ebony bridge, classic herringbone binding, Rosewood sides and solid Rosewood back put the finishing touches on this elegant instrument.

This three pronged triquetra, Latin for three cornered, is a figure formed from three circular arcs of equal radius.

It symbolizes the Celtic beliefs that everything has three distinct yet interlocked levels - physical, mental and spiritual.

When the Celts embraced Christianity they used this symbol to represent the Trinity (father, son and Holy Spirit).

As with many Celtic themes the unbroken circle represents eternity. The three symbol is not limited to only Celts, cultures in regions throughout the world consider the number three to be a divine number.

The Triquetra and its many variations, represent three elements as a unity or three pieces of a whole.

Luna's premium mother-of-pearl signature moon phase fret markers trace the length of the ebony fret board over a one piece mahogany neck crowned by a bone nut.

Complimenting the design effort is the inclusion of a state-of-the-art B-Band preamp tuner that maintains the intimate and natural acoustic tonal quality of these fine instruments.

The preamp includes a 3 band EQ, phase select, low cut filter with frequency select, as well as Hi and Lo Z outputs.

Luna's premium mother-of-pearl logo shines brightly from an Ebony headstock. Gotoh 18:1 chrome tuners with mother-of-pearl buttons offer precision, ease and elegance.
