Mackie DFX·12
Mackie DFX·12 Description:
Mackie crammed so much cool stuff into their DFX consoles that it's almost impossible to know where to start. Not only are they Mackie's most affordable live mixers, but they might be the most feature-packed consoles in their class. The DFX mixers were designed to give pro quality control and sound to performing musicians who don't have the budget (or inclination) for a sound guy and all that entails, and don't want to be at the mercy of the house sound operator or sound system everywhere they play (or maybe there is no sound operator where you play).
The DFX mixers are easy to control when you're on stage. One glance at the consoles will tell you everything you need to know. Digital effects and a graphic equalizer are built in, so you don't have to deal with a rack of outboard gear. There's even a "break switch" that lets you mute your mic channels and switches to the CD/tape input, so that music plays between sets. The DFX are built tough to withstand the rigors of playing live. But above all, and most importantly, they sound fantastic, with the low noise and high head room that have practically become a Mackie design trademark.
