The distinctive looking 000CXE Black acoustic-electric guitar is a fine example Martin's commitment to preserving the earth's dwindling resources and designing guitars that are within reach of every aspiring guitarist. Constructed with a combination of highly compressed wood fibers (high-pressure laminate, HPL) and traditional tonewoods, the acoustic-electric 000CXE Black guitar has the famous Martin sound and playability found in their more expensive guitars. The Onboard Prefix Pro preamp system includes advanced feedback controls: brilliance control, notch filter and phase switch combined with a patented fliptop housing that enables the preamp chassis to pivot out of the guitar.

Overall, I would give this guitar a 10. It has everything that I look for in a gigging guitar. It's strong, sounds amazing, looks great, easy to play..... I have heard some stories about the rosette wearing away over time but I've had mine over a year now and It still looks like the day I bought it.
