Martin's breakthrough DXME Dreadnought features innovative
construction with a combination of highly compressed
wood fibers (high-pressure laminate, called HPL)
and traditional tonewoods. HPL is extremely durable
and workable, and Martin has found ways to build
traditional Martin shapes with HPL that yield
incredibly long-lasting and affordable guitars. What's
more, Martin has crafted the DXME Dreadnought so it
possesses that famous Martin sound and playability
found in the more expensive guitars. The Martin DXME Dreadnought features
top, back and side construction of high-pressure laminate (HPL), herringbone decal rosette,
and a durable satin finish. The Martin DXME is the acoustic-electric
version of the Martin DXM with Classic 4 Sonicore onboard electronics.
