3 Octave Student - Kelon bar xylophone (C5-C8), tuned to A=442, aluminum resonators, height adjustable frame.
Musser Percussion has introduced a new concept in Mallet Percussion with the M41 & M47 Xylo-Kits. According to Ludwig / Musser Product Manager Jim Catalano, "These Xylo-Kits fill in the gap for a young percussion student growing from the Educational Bell Kit to a full size professional mallet instrument. Now a percussion student can have a full xylophone at a low price to expand their skill level."
The M41 is a hybrid mallet instrument made with Musser USA Kelon bars on an imported frame and resonators. The black finished bars offer a full xylophone sound in 3 octaves (C5 - C8), tuned to A=442. The resonators are made from aluminum alloy with gold colored finish coating. The frame is wooden and painted black. End supports, brace supports and legs are made from tubular steel and easily fold for transportation.
The M41 is height adjustable with 5 positions for the growing percussion student, placing the keyboard at a 32" - 37" in range. Perfect for the beginner and advancing students. The weight is only 50 lbs. hard rubber mallets are included.

*The imported frame and leg support are adequate for personal use with limited location movement. Musser does not recommend this model for schools. For school use Musser recommends the M42 Xylophone.
