QSC PLX-1802 PLX2 Amplifiers

The QSC PLX-1802 is a rackmount stereo power amplifier, offering up 330W per channel at 8 Ohms, and weighing in at a mere 21 pounds. The unit is designed to drive up to 4 loudspeakers from each amplifier channel (2 Ohm loading), or when high power bridge mono operation is required, and offers a comprehensive feature set with uncompromised PLX performance and technology.

The PLX-1802 features built-in subwoofer processing, filter switches, and front panel indications of bridge mono status, and is a worthy solution for either high-quality portable P.A. amplification use, or in a studio situation as a reference playback alternative.

Features:

Lightweight, high-output stereo rackmount power amplifier with Stereo, Parallel and Bridged Mono operation and indicators

21-position front-panel gain controls for precise, repeatable amplifier adjustment

Cooling design with front-exit hot air exhaust, Flow-through heat sinks require no filters, eliminating clogging

Full short circuit, open circuit, thermal, infrasonic, ultrasonic, and RF protection, stable into reactive or mismatched loads

Clip limiting protects speakers; thermal limiting maintains operation even during abnormal overload conditions

Front panel LED power, clip, -10dB, and signal present indicators for system monitoring and troubleshooting

Balanced XLR inputs with parallel TRS connectors and loop-through support

Speakon NL-4 output connectors with positive-locking speaker connection; Ch. 1 output uses all 4 wires for single-cable connection to bi-amplified speakers
