A lot has changed since the early 50's including the performance needs of musicians. The MALIBU SERIES captures the essence of those early bolt on neck guitars in a sleek updated package. The slightly reduced body size makes it lighter and more manageable on those extended club sets. We also made the neck pocket deeper for a superior neck to body contact. The compact angled back headstock also provides enhanced performance not to mention the ability to stay in tune.

played it a a store whith a 120 watt german made amp and a efects pedal you know the one that are silver plastic that make any sound you can imagine and programable to about 80 bucks for the pedal and this guitar was great!!!!!!!!!! i loved it plain black body clean look awsome classic style im whould get it if i wasnt getting a mbe greg bennet malbu whithc is the sdame thing but upgrade package whitch by the way it worthn the extra 20 or so it runs about 400 or something like that but if your low on money this is your best bet for an all around guitar that rocks when playing old rock like def lepard /n stuff likes that
