Premium-grade Sitka spruce has the flexibility to deliver on this Dreadnought's promise of volume and dynamics. Prized for its excellent projection, rosewood teams with Sitka and the 810's new muscle to create a potent package.
Dreadnought Body
A traditional shape refined, we combine classic dreadnought volume and bass response with the definitive Taylor sound: clear trebles and an open, airy midrange that Bob Taylor's signature design accentuates. Recent re-voicing turns up the bass and volume even more. Dreadnoughts respond especially well to flatpicking or light-to-heavy strumming.
Gloss Finish
The finish used to create this guitar's lustrous gloss top, back, and sides was developed at Taylor for maximum durability and resistance to cold-checking. This ultra violet-cured finish is also more environmentally friendly than traditional lacquer finishes. Available in natural finish or with an optional Tobacco or Honey Sunburst top (with natural back and sides).
