Vox CT05CO Description:
Smooth and silky tone. Compression control allows you to change the ratio and threshold. Low and high ratio switch gives you two overall levels of compression ratio. Low being a more common classic compression ratio, while the high setting gives you a more pronounced percussive attack transient at the beginning of notes. Attack and release controls vary the gain reduction and time of gain attenuation. High end emphasis control for fine tuning top end compression, and volume for overall level. Uses a 12AU7 tube. Runs on 4 AA batteries or optional 9v AC
Gain Reduction Indicator that gives you visual cues of the results of your settings. And a High/Low Switch lets you choose between two overall levels of ratio. The Snake Charmer is equipped with other controls for Attack, which determines how quickly the gain reduction kicks in, and Release, which determines how long the gain is attenuated. Finally, the High-End Emphasis control fine-tunes the amount of compression applied to the top end of the guitar signal.
