The guitar starts with a spruce top and Trembesi tonewood back and sides for impressive warm tone and unique beauty right out of the box. The mahogany V-neck offers ample dexterity when chording up and down the rosewood fingerboard. The Washburn R314KK parlor guitar comes out of the box looking and feeling like a well-worn old friend. The natural finish, beautiful rope purfling, and antique distressed veneer offers a pure vintage look, while the distinctive tone woods bring out all the sound you could ask for in this blues machine.

Following the tradition of instrument making from the late 1800s, Washburn's Vintage Series guitars have been skillfully "antiqued" to resemble over 100 years of wear.
