Base unit includes everything to connect eight student instruments
The LC2 is ideal for college digital piano labs, or K-12 labs that have portable keyboards, electronic percussion, synthesizers or even Yamaha's Silent Series instruments.
The base unit system includes a rack mounted Hub, eight Student Boxes, a Hardware Remote Control and MIDI Illustrator and Music Management software.
The basic 8-channel system includes cabling and headset microphones, and can be expanded via eight-channel expansion cards to accommodate as many as 48 students.
Hardware remote control makes operation easy
The LC2 Hub can be controlled by the hardware remote controller and/or computer-based software via a USB connection.
Student Boxes include stereo instrument, microphone and computer audio inputs, plus output and level controls.
Each box is connected to the Hub via CAT5 cables, further reducing system cost and installation time.
The Hardware Remote Controller is small enough to fit on top of the teacher's keyboard, and can store up to eight different class configurations for easy recall.
MIDI Illustrator and Music Lab Management software
Any notes the instructor plays on a USB- or MIDI-equipped instrument appears on a jumbo-sized grand staff.
Easily illustrate musical passages, scales, and chords to the entire class by via computer monitor or projecting onto a classroom screen.
Music Lab Management software allows for a birds-eye-view control over larger lab configurations.
Using a standard Ethernet connection, your computer talks directly to the LC2, instantly recalling your favorite setups of student groups and pairings, as well as volume and mute settings.
