Mike Sterns and Yamaha have teamed up for many years and so Yamaha has honored that association by release of this series of fine guitars. The Pacifica PAC1511MS Electric Guitar combines latest technology in acoustics with aesthetic design.
Yamaha PAC1511MS is two piece guitar, with White Ash colored body, bolt-on, 22-fret maple neck and fingerboard. Seymour Duncan-a ‘59 in the neck and “Tele Hot Rails” in the bridge form pick ups for this model. Master Tone, master volume, a three-position pick-up selector switch, and Kluson-style tuners form the set of controls for this model. This Yamaha Electric Guitar, Stern’s favourite instrument comes in natural finish.
This model is based on Telecaster design. Mike Sterns got his signature guitar in 1997. Pickups differ according to price, lower priced guitars come with Yamaha made pickups while higher end guitars come with Seymour Duncan pickups.
