Taylor 110 Acoustic Guitar

Taylor 110

The Taylor 110 Acoustic Guitar offers the most bang for your buck any day of the week! -Taylor Review: Likes: I was just killing time in the acoustic section and started playing this one on a whim. I was surprised to find a beautiful-sounding and great-feeling instrument whose acoustic volume is probably loud enough to compensate for the lack of a pickup. And it’s a lovely acoustic sound, with plenty of chime yet warm and detailed.
Dislikes: No cutaway, no pickup. This instrument was obviously meant more for personal use than gigging. Also, it’s plain-looking, which probably contributes to its friendly price tag.
Quality: Great, no complaints. Typical Taylor quality.
Summary: For a guitar aimed at the beginner market, this is one fine instrument. Obviously upper-end Taylors would look and sound even better

What The People Say About The Taylor 110 Acoustic Guitar

The full-scale Taylor 110 finds the sweet spot between the Big Baby and the 300 Series. A Dreadnought with a solid Sitka spruce top and laminated sapele back and sides, the Taylor 110 also sports an arched back, large pearloid fingerboard dot inlays, and comes with a gig bag for easy toting. Unlike the Big Baby, it features a traditional heelblock, black fiber binding, and an inlaid white fiber soundhole rosette. Whether you’re looking for an affordable full-sized guitar or a backup for alternate tunings, the Taylor 110 delivers Taylor’s trademark tone and playability at an amazing value.

Review From Taylor Guitars (manufacture)

Like the Big Baby, the Taylor 110 features a solid Sitka spruce top, laminated sapele back and sides with a slight back arch, a 1-11/16-inch neck, and comes with a gig bag. Unlike the Big Baby, the 110 has a more traditional heelblock, no visible fretboard screws, complete body-binding, and an inlaid rosette. Like all of our guitars, the 110 is being built in our El Cajon, California factory. Limited dealer shipments began in April, ramping up to the Taylor 110’s official release at the Nashville NAMM show, July 18-21, 2003.
