In 2005, B.C. Rich reintroduces the traditional Eagle shape to the Platinum series basses. Rock Clouser, B.C. Rich Product Manager explains, “As our market grows, we want to give an alternative shape to the non-metal player. Therefore our Eagle shape fit the bill perfectly - sleek but classic.”

The 4 string Platinum Eagle basses will be available in Onyx (Gloss black) and natural quilted Maple. Standard features on these bass models include: Agathis body, adjustable bridge, Rosewood fingerboard, Maple bolt on neck, black headstock, comfortable 34″ scale, 24 jumbo frets, dot inlay, chrome hardware and two P-style pickups.
