Nashville, TN — Now musicians and vocalists, karaoke singers and audio hobbyists can afford AKG quality, reliability and Crystal Clear Sound. The new CCS Series brings a higher level of performance to entry-level price points. Each of these six dynamic microphones has been engineered for specific applications: the D 88 S is a premium lead vocal microphone with a super-cardioid capsule inside a rugged enclosure, while the D 11 has been designed for kick drum and other bass-heavy instruments. Choosing the right CCS Series microphone is easy, thanks to clear plastic carrying cases that display each model’s specifications and features on color-coded sheets.
SPEECH, VOCALS AND GENERAL-PURPOSE MICROPHONES
D 88 S: the supercardioid pattern helps lead vocalists cut through the mix. A heavy-duty metal body with rugged wire mesh cap and integrated on/off switch provides pro-quality looks and reliability. Complete with stand adapter and choice of 16 ft. (5 m) XLR—XLR or XLR—1/4″ plug cable.
D 77 S: a cardioid microphone for demanding applications such as backing vocals, guitar, wind instruments, etc. The metal case has an integral on/off switch, plus a wire mesh grill for added ruggedness. Complete with stand adapter and choice of 16 ft. (5 m) XLR—XLR or XLR—1/4″ plug cable.
