Following in the footsteps of the successful, industry standard line of 5000 Series bass drum pedals, DW has announced the introduction of a line of heavy-duty hardware under the same name. Some of the many pro features include heavy-gauge tubing, fine-toothed tilter cymbal adjustment, double braced legs, memory locks and patented ball bearing hinges on hi-hats. New models in the competitively priced line included the heavy-duty 5700 straight/boom cymbal stand and 5710 straight cymbal stand, the lighter weight 5700L and 5710L cymbal stands, 5300 snare stand, as well as the existing 5500TD 2-leg and 5500D 3-leg Delta hi-hat stands. The 5500L and 5500TL hi-hats have also been added to the line to satisfy the need for sturdy but lighter weight models.

According to DW President Don Lombardi, the new 5000 Series hardware is a perfect compliment to the company’s rich history of hardware innovations, “We’re very excited about the all-new line of 5000 hardware.
