Drum Workshop has announced the addition of Titanium to its extensive line of Collector’s Series® metal snare drum options. In addition to Brass, Bronze, Copper, Aluminum and its patented Edge hybrid, drummers can now put Titanium at the top of their wish list.

The 6.5×14″ shell is rolled from pure titanium and includes precisely-machined bearing edges to accommodate its custom 42-strand wires. The exterior is polished to a mirror-like sheen, while the inside surface is left in its natural state to take advantage of the dark, warm sonic quality that titanium provides.

DW’s Collector’s Series® Titanium also features die-cast hoops, a unique mini-turret/tube lug, the new Swivel all-chrome cast throw-off and a velvet-lined protective bag.
