Gemini UMX Special Edition

The UMX Special Edition is a 3 channel 10″ Professional VCA* mixer, is the perfect battle mixer for the clubs to the street. Blue and red light emitting diodes (LED), light up the master and EQ VU meters on the mixer giving it a unique look. Its stylish design consists of a steel reinforced body that includes an assignable Railglide crossfader with hamster (reverse) switch & curve control knob, and metal EQ & gain knobs for precise control. The three stereo channels feature VCA sliders with individual low, mid, high, gain controls, slide curve control with 3 settings, and adjustable line input assign switches, plus stereo panning and cut control feature for the low, mid, & high EQ knobs. There is also the state of the art push button cueing with volume & horizontal line cue fader controls for accurate mixing. The UMX-SE has a total of 11 inputs, consisting of 3 phono/line convertible inputs, 2 phono, 5 Line, 1 microphone, and. Finally there are master, zone, record, and balanced XLR outputs with separate master & zone volume controls, not to mention the gold plated input connections and ground screws.

* VCA: With VCA technology, audio is processed in a voltage-controlled amplifier (VCA) removing it from the crossfader and channel slides giving them extended life and reducing travel noise. The crossfader and channel slides regulate the DC voltage that controls the VCA circuit. Additional advantages of VCA technology include the ability to provide precise curve adjustments for the crossfader and channel slides without sacrificing audio quality.
