Johnson Bluegrass Series
Showcasing the first of many Greg Rich-designed products, new Johnson Bluegrass Series Guitars are made from hand select woods and feature a bright, full tone perfect for flatpicking.
The new handmade guitars were developed with bluegrass players in mind, and feature forward-x scalloped bracing in a traditional pre-war style, a solid Engelmann spruce top, classic butterbean tuners, grained ivoroid binding, hand-cut abalone/M.O.P. detailing and more.
These guitars are the ultimate in craftsmanship. Greg Rich was inspired by guitars from the pre-war era and looked into the needs of bluegrass players. Musicians of any style will appreciate the well-balanced tone and a traditional design of these guitars.
Players have a choice of features on models, such as Honduran mahogany or East Indian rosewood back and sides, and additional inlay and solid wood options. These guitars are made for anyone with an ear for quality and the spirit of American music.
