RGX Series Guitars

Yamaha Guitars announces its first true double cutaway set-neck guitar at Winter NAMM. Answering the demands of many younger players looking for smooth playability and aesthetic beauty, Yamaha’s new RGX Series gives players the total package.

The new RGX320FZ and RGX520FZ are Yamaha’s newest double cutaway electric guitars featuring set necks, carved tops, body and neck binding, and unique Yamaha features like finger tail pieces (found on the AES Series), a 3-D headstock design and custom neck inlays.

The RGX320FZ features a Nato carved top body, a thin, 25.5″ set-in Maple neck and smooth 22-fret Rosewood fingerboard. Electronics include a pair of Yamaha humbuckers, master volume and tone, and a 3-position toggle switch. Chrome hardware, diecast tuners and a choice of Black or Pewter finishes complete the look.

The RGX520FZ has a Nato body with flamed Maple veneer top, a fast 25.5″ Maple set-in neck and 22-fret Rosewood fingerboard with custom inlay. Twin humbuckers, a three-position toggle switch master volume and tone complete the circuitry, while Chrome hardware, barrel tuners and Translucent Black or Dark Red finishes ensure that the RGX520FZ looks as great as it sounds.
